At level 11, Alice and Koffsky have two wonderful days. When they are about to have dinner at a restaurant, Koffsky confesses to Alice that he has been searching for his Magyar Lager recipe since. When Alice realizes that Koffsky has been a coward, she tells him that there is nothing wrong in being a coward, that he just needed to take his medicine. Koffsky responds by saying he now knows that the best gift he can give her is the Koffka's Magyar Lager “Szerencsét”. Alice and Koffsky kiss and Alice decides to remain with him and go their separate ways.
At level 9, Alice realizes that she has been making the same mistake over and over again in her relationship with Koffsky. She calls him and explains that she is going to move on. She tells him she understands why he left her and that she is sorry she hurt him. Koffsky tells Alice that he loves her, wants to be with her and will try to change. He then reveals that he had found out that Koffsky's Magyar Lager beer came from his beloved Koffka's recipe for a beer he created in Hungary. Koffsky then reveals that he had pretended to be crazy in order to trick Edward into sabotaging Koffsky's business relationship with Alice. Koffsky then made amends by making Alice a special beer which would be the best gift he could give her, the Koffka's Magyar Lager “Szerencsét”.
Because of the way coffee changes over time, the Koffsky brothers didn't bother to patent their recipes. Other brewers now claim the Koffsky recipes as their own. That's one reason why some people think coffee and coffee beer are the same thing.
Jane says that the recipe that she is using is an old Othello, which is named after the tragic play by William Shakespeare. Othello was married to Desdemona, a woman who was his best friend. One night he was jealous of Desdemona and killed her. He went to a restaurant to eat some charcuterie and ordered an Othello, but it was poisoned by a jealous person. They didn't realize the charcuterie was poisoned until it was too late, and Othello died. Jane explains that she won't use any ingredients that might be on the list of ingredients. She also mentions that you can buy the ingredients separately, and that the Othello is made with ingredients that are available at her local grocery store. Jane is also using a French press for her coffee. 827ec27edc
